Hack the Marine Corp’s

Last Sunday, nearly 100 hackers were shoulder-to-shoulder with members of the US Marines with one mission in mind, improve the security of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network. In just nine hours, the participating hackers were awarded over $80,000 for the 75 unique valid vulnerabilities reported.

Major General Matthew Glavy, Commander, US Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command said it best, “Working with the ethical hacker community provides us with a large return on investment to identify and mitigate current critical vulnerabilities, reduce attack surfaces, and minimize future vulnerabilities. It will make us more combat ready.”
